Story Joy Labsby Meaghan Malone

Story Joy Labs · A design studio by Meaghan Malone

Design that tells your story.

I make websites, brands, and printed pieces for small businesses, counselors, schools, and anyone with something to say, plus a shop of things I make for teachers. Every project starts the same way: with your story, and the people you want to invite into it.

Web design

Websites that tell your story well.

Now booking new website projects

I design and build warm, clear websites for small businesses, counselors, creatives, and anyone with something to say. You get a site that sounds like you, reads beautifully on a phone, and makes it easy for the right people to reach you.

Graphic design

Brands, print, and everything in between.

One project or a whole set that matches. Every piece is quoted for what you need, and you get files that are ready for the printer, the web, or your own hands.

Logos & brand identity

A logo, a color palette, and a font pairing, with a one-page guide so everything you make looks like it belongs together.

Print design

Flyers, posters, event programs, menus, invitations, and business cards, set up properly for the print shop.

Social graphics

Post and story templates in your colors and fonts that you can fill in yourself, so your feed looks like you every week.

Yearbooks & publications

Covers, spreads, newsletters, and booklets, with a clear story on every page and a style a whole team can follow.

Working together

How a project goes

The same four steps for a website, a logo, or a single flyer. Smaller projects simply move faster.

  1. We talk

Tell me about your work and the people you want to reach. A short conversation helps me understand what you need and what you don't.

  2. A plan and a price

I send a written plan with the pieces, the timeline, how many rounds of changes are included, and the cost, so you know what you're saying yes to.

  3. I design and build it

You see the design early and help shape it. Then I finish it and check it on phones, screens, and paper.

  4. Launch, and after

You get every file, and for websites a walkthrough. If you'd like ongoing help, a care plan keeps things fresh.

Good to know

Questions people ask

How long does a website take?

Most small sites take two to five weeks, depending on size and how quickly the words and photos come together. Need it sooner? Ask about timing when you write.

What do I need to get started?

Just a conversation. Tell me about your business, the people you want to reach, and any sites you admire. I'll help you shape the words and choose the photos.

Tell me your story.

No pressure and no obligation. I read every note myself and write back soon, usually with a few questions and a time to talk.

  • Not sure what you need? Choose “Not sure yet.” That's what the first conversation is for.
  • Have a site or logo already? Share the link, and I'll take a look before we talk.
  • Based in Bradenton or Sarasota? We can meet in person.
